Postal Mailing Needs

Our mailing department can offer you different options for all of your postal mailing needs. We have a variety of permits from bulk mail to presorted first class for your use at no charge. Whether you use your own permit number or ours, we'll make bulk mailing easy for you.

Our postal program takes your database, creates a unique barcode for each individual address and gets the mail piece to your customer faster. The formats we can use for the databases are Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Comma delimited, Tab delimited or CSV which stands for comma separated value.

Addressing Options:

• The first one is a feature called NCOA which is National Change of Address. If a person moves and files a card with any post office in the United States, it will find that individual and make the change to the new address. We will run a report to give to you with the corrected addresses. This is a .02 charge per name and is charged by the total amount on your database. For example, if you have a database of 750 names, your charge would be $15.00 even if it only finds 5 addresses that have been changed. The post office requires that to be done every 4-6 months to keep your database clean.
• The second option is printing "Return Service Requested" on your mail piece. If a customer has moved, the mail piece will be returned to you. The post office will charge you .44 postage for each piece that is returned.
• The third option is a line in the address mailing panel that says "or current resident". If the customer has moved, the postal carrier will still leave the piece at that address. There is no charge for this from the post office.

Postage Options:

• If we use your permit number for the mailing, there must be money in your account when the mailing is taken to the post office.
• The second option is a check from the customer to be dropped off for the postage so that it can be taken along with the mailing to the post office. This is if you are using our permit number.
• And the last option is the postage can be billed to the customer. This option can only be used for established customers.
