Description
An adaptation of commonly used bone plates, the Cable Plate incorporates the use of cerclage cable that is passed directly through the plate rather than around it. Cable Plates are available in 6, 8, and 10-hole versions. The cable is secured to the plate by use of a tensioner and a crimp mechanism integral to the plate. The associated 1.8mm stainless steel cable can be used with all plate lengths. The low-profile bone plate construct is effective for periprosthetic fractures. All Cable Plates, used with the Cable-Ready®System, have retensioning capability.
